Can you elaborate on how your OITE review is structured?  We are trying to incorporate a review for this upcoming academic year.

Our weekly conferences, consist of an hour on Wednesday mornings and Thursday from 7:30-11:30am.  On Thursdays the day always start with Grand rounds, followed by either core knowledge, tumor knowledge, basic science and/or surgical skills.  Our faculty fully support our resident’s education time by closing out clinic time every Thursday mornings.   Our resident’s attendance is very high as this is part of their semi-annual review.

Here at Loyola (suburb of Chicago), just received an email regarding banning any business travel until the end of the month. Our residents and faculty will no longer be attending AAOS as well as myself not be able to attend ARCOS. Many hospitals in the Chicagoland area are being placed on a no business travel ban.

We give all our residents 20 days. 15 days towards vacation and 5 days towards education. For our PGY4 doing interviews, we provide them an additional 5 days for interviews.
