I attached one file but each team (trauma, joint, spine, etc.) have their own set of goals and objectives that are updated each year.

Hi! I use ERAS to issue the initial bulk email to invite applicants, but I schedule and communicate visit information outside ERAS, for exactly the reasons you mention. I eventually create Private Events in ERAS to enter the applicant names for my own sorting purposes. Since only my program director uses ERAS for reviewing applications, we don’t use many of the features Scheduler offers. We also interview 40-45 applicants, which makes scheduling off-line less of a time demand than a larger program would have. For instance, our EM residency interviews over 200 in a season, so they had to automate.

    Hi,

I do not use ERAS interview scheduler. And am exactly like you. I schedule the interviews solo, the PD and faculty select the candidates via ERAS and reach out via email. I am like you, need more hands on.

    Hi Lorena,
What specialty is your program? There will also be deadlines that are specialty specific.

    Hi Lorena,

Take a look under the tab on our site for Resources. There is a Timeline that was set up and put there to help coordinators with important deadlines.

Thank you. Is this for residents only or fellows too. I have never heard of getting this for fellows.

Thanks, Cindy for sharing. My Chairman actually forwarded the email to me over the weekend. The email also states that the coordinators will need this for reporting. Do you know where this information is reported?

I will miss seeing you at the ARCOS meeting in 2019. It was a pleasure for me to get to know you.
Best of luck with your move to Florida.
    Again, congratulations Kimberly!

My understanding is that they are implementing a single Match Day…April 30. The San Francisco Match rank list is due April 16 with the Match on April 30. There is a calendar on the NRMP site with their dates on it.

    1. We do not provide much assistance with job searches. Most of my residents begin looking in their 5th year in the region they are interested in. If I know where they want to go I will forward appropriate recruiting emails to them.

    2. Our faculty only receive feedback in the form of aggregated data from resident evals. The residents are not comfortable completing evals that would be shared individually. We only have 15 residents so linking an eval to the resident on service is fairly easy to do.

The University of Iowa is piloting the Behavioral Skill Program at the moment. I am not sure when it is going to roll out to all programs.
