    Laurel,

We take a picture too. I think it’s the one time that they are all together.

    Stacy,
We have been using MedHub at the University of Washington for several years now. I think it’s a good system overall for a program our size (40 residents).

MedHub was initially more responsive to changes/updates needed before MedHub merged with EValue. MedHub is capable of doing a lot of things that we don’t even use. I wouldn’t want to use it if I had a really large program like family medicine or something like that but it works pretty well for our program. We never used New Innovations so I can’t compare it to that.

    Stacy,

The University of Kentucky moved from New Innovations to MedHub 3 or 4 years ago and I feel it is easier to maneuver around and get reports, enter things, etc. I feel it was a good move for us.

    Betsy,
    That checklist is awesome!
Why do you take a picture of all the residents?

    Hi Sara,

Welcome! You can email exams@aaos.org and contact the AAOS directly. You will need a testing facility that can handle the number of residents you will need to take it. A special browser will need to be installed, so work with someone IT savvy. I’m attaching the proctor guide from last year. I also created an OITE process document for our program and just modified it for more general use so maybe that will be helpful-also attached.

Hi Sara! Been there! You should contact Jonathan Sprague, Manager, Assessments and Examinations for the AAOS. His email address is sprague@aaos.org. It is an online exam that takes all day. You order it and they will send you an invoice.

I have attached the 2017 OITE Proctor (that’s You) Guide. But feel free to reach out again to anyone and especially those at the AAOS. They have answered all my silly questions over the years! If I can help you in any way, my email address is llewis8@wellspan.org.
    Best wishes,
    ~Laurel

Yes, I did receive it. From the looks of it, I thought it was a mass email, not someone particularly interested in my program. All of the questions can be answered from looking at my website. I do not plan to respond.

University of Wisconsin got the same email. I have not responded. If they had looked at our website or GME Track their questions would be answered. I don’t plan to respond.

Yes, I received that same email this morning. Most of this information is on our website or available through GME Track and I am not responding. Every year before ERAS opens I get one of two of these that don’t really feel like they are coming from a student, but rather from an information compiling entity. I typically do not respond. I have not had any experiences like Courtney’s with follow-up email or calls though.

I received this email too. I get a number of emails with these type of questions, especially before ERAS opens up. I find that if I don’t respond they become very persistent with more emails and sometimes even call on the phone. I have a template email that I prepared some time ago to send back to these inquiries. I never give out any numbers or cut off scores and many times I know I am not answering all of their questions, but usually they don’t follow up as I guess they are happy to get any information at all.

UCSD also received this email. Not planning to respond, as most info can either be found on our website or through GME track.

Yes, I got the exact same email. Mine came the exact same person, and I do not know who this person is. I have not responded yet.
