I brought this up at the meeting we had with them. One person told me that we could. I don’t remember who but another person was shaking their head no but couldn’t speak. Since it wasn’t clear I reached out for clarification last month and this is what I was told by Maria
“Ideally, we would prefer if all of the residents within a program tested on the same day at the same time, however we recognize that these physicians are on call and scheduling all residents to take the OITE at the same time would be a challenge. In that regard, we will work with you to obtain scheduling well in advance (3+ weeks prior to the exam) to establish which residents will test on any given day for the remote testing and proctoring administration option. As soon as we can, AAOS will push out additional information relating to remote testing details.”
