Lee Ann FinnoParticipantCo-ed showers are just as fun. I have gotten my fellows/attendings who are expecting baby scrubs in the past makes for a cute gift as well as a skeleton baby halloween costume (always about bones)!
Enjoy and congrats!

Lee Ann FinnoParticipantHi Maia,
We provide a booklet that is updated every year. I think it is worthwhile for applicants to have something tangible including benefits etc. as they return home and after completion of all interviews so they can weigh options. Electronic information is great but I think better to have hard copy of the important information.
Thanks,
Lee Ann Finno

Lee Ann FinnoParticipantGood morning LaToya and all,
The Foundation for Orthopedic Trauma (FOT) offers resident scholarships to PGY2-4 residents to attend their dissection courses throughout the year as well as their Annual Trauma symposium. Additionally, for the PGY4-Trauma Level fellow there is a Pelvic /Acetabular course that takes place each May. Please send residents to : https://fotnorthamerica.org/events/ to register for the 11/7&8/25 meeting in Long Beach, CA as well as the January 29+30/26 in Las Vegas, NV. The rest of 2026 event should be up on the events page soon so feel free to keep this information handy as scholarships are offered on a first come first serve basis.
Thank you!

Lee Ann FinnoParticipantPlease continue to offer printed program. It is a great resource for members to have for the meeting as well as to refer back to after.
Thank you.
Lee Ann FinnoParticipantWe had in person interviews across the board for residency and fellowships. The fellows we interviewed ( I am a hand fellowship coordinator) had a mixed bag of in person and virtual interviews and were really appreciative to be in person to see our facilities etc.. Of course they may just be saying that but for us we prefer in person. Thanks.

Lee Ann FinnoParticipantIs AAOS going to give ARCOS members a discounted rate again? Last meeting I believe we were able to get $100 registration fee which seems fair if we are not planning to attend other than opening ceremony.
Lee Ann FinnoParticipantHi Chelsea, see below template for individual invites. Good luck!
Dear Applicant,
