    Hi –

As we all know, orthopaedics is very competitive. My guess is that they were told to have a back-up plan?

I had one MD student that matched into anesthesia and everyone one else ortho. So, nothing unusual for us.

    Hello everyone – happy Friday!

Just a reminder, if you have not emailed your list of residents/fellows to Michael Gagnon at AOC, please take a minute to do this.

There are a lot of great resources for trainees on this site…business of medicine education, navigating job search, education on employment contract and negotiation, and so much more! Membership is free!

We hope to do a virtual session in January with AOC to learn more about this great platform!

    Hello,

Have you thought about using the timeline…. Year in The Life of the Ortho Residency? It can be found under the Resources tab in the New Coordinator file.

I’m not really sure there is a time frame for how long you need to keep records of these items.  I would scan and keep all the score reports at a minimum.

    Hi Michelle,

Are they scores/reports or just communications about the OITE?

    Hi Shawna,

One of my faculty has been to Tanzania for several medical mission trips. Let me check with him to see if it’s with Operation Walk.

    Hi Katrina,

We had a similar situation years ago. We created a certificate using our private practice’s logo and the medical center’s logo. Then both the program director and chair of our department signed the certificate.  We did not have an official seal to use on the certificate.
