Maia KnoxKeymasterDear Residency & Fellowship Program Administrators:
I wanted to personally reach out to inform you that our TRIA Sports Medicine & Shoulder Fellowship STILL has 1 unmatched position for the upcoming 24-25 academic year. We are looking for help identifying a great candidate. If you have a current G5 resident that has not matched, or is looking for a spot in a different subspecialty, or you have a fellow that is looking for a second Fellowship, please let me know or have the resident/fellow reach out to us directly at maia.knox@TRIA.com. Here is our website with lots of info.
Thank you so much!

Maia KnoxKeymasterHappy Monday!
A reminder of the upcoming deadline on 11/30/23 to register your Program Director for the “Program Coordinator and Director Relationships: Fostering a Healthy Working Partnership” session on 2/14/24 at 2:30 pm at our Annual Conference. Our Happy Hour is right after and we would love for your PD to stay too! It is important for us to have an accurate headcount for these two events. We’d really appreciate you letting us know if your PD will be present at one or both events!
Also, there is still time to sign up yourself and your PD to be part of the 8-person panel to showcase your working relationship. We will randomly select 4 duos after the deadline.
Click here to register your PD attendance and/or sign up for the Panel!!
Thank you!

Maia KnoxKeymasterHi Nikki-we use the Milestones. We make the fellows fill them out at the beginning of the academic year, and at the end, for comparison.

Maia KnoxKeymasterHi Suzanne
My PD and I design and control the full content of the website, but we get it approved and follow the marketing and design guidelines of the healthcare system we are employed by… Sometimes we have to make changes, because they do not align with their policies, but that is mostly design, font, color, etc related, not content related. We can have as many pages as we want, same with pictures, diagrams, logos, etc…
Here is our website
Hope this helps

Maia KnoxKeymasterHey Anna!
In the Sports Medicine Fellowship world there has been LOTS of discussion about this…The specialty sub-committee proposed an in-person ONLY interview season for 22-23, to which LOTS of PDs replied saying that their GME offices have prohibited them to be in-person at their institutions, and have banned the G4s from traveling to places to Interview as well… so it was decided at the last PDs meeting to meet again and discuss, as that decision was not aligning with what GME offices are allowing. In my case, we are strongly encouraged to do them virtually by the GME office, but are allowing us to follow our subcommittee decision as well, so we are waiting…Hope all is well with you!!
