KeymasterHello –
For our program, I send out our monthly “UC Health Patient Experience” report. This report provides data from patient surveys on the following settings: inpatient, ambulatory surgery center, infusion center, emergency room for both of our medical campuses as well as all of our satellite offices.

KeymasterMe again –
Sonya just sent another email saying that several Program Directors and Coordinators have inquired about the Prometric ProProctor format for testing. ABOS did look at this as a possibility early on, but was told the ABOS Part I Examination is not currently in a format compatible with the ProProctor, it would take several months to get this ready. So right now it is not a valid option.Kim Reising
KeymasterI doubt my residents and faculty will be attending if they do keep the AOA/CORD meeting “in-person” for Baltimore.

KeymasterGood afternoon ARCOS Members-
We have received several requests from coordinators asking for a copy of the ARCOS listserv. Unfortunately, ARCOS does not openly share the listserv outside of using it for our organization only. I know that a few of the requests have pertained to studies and/or surveys. You are welcome to share the information on our Community Forum page for coordinators to share with their program. As Joni has mentioned, another option is to check the ACGME website where the contact information is available for both the program coordinator and program director.
Thanks!

KeymasterOur institution has made reference that we may delay our start time until September but nothing has officially been announced yet.

KeymasterThank you Vicky for sharing.
I would like to encourage everyone to share any free webinars, journal access, learning videos, etc. that they are aware of on our community forum. This will allow us the opportunity to help with providing a continued education for our residents and fellows during this unprecedented time.

KeymasterHi Alyssa,
So sorry that you are having to deal with this situation without much help from GME office and/or HR.We have an Employee Assistance Program that is available to help our residents in situations like this. Does your institution have one?

KeymasterHi Darcey-
Our residents get 20 vacation days. Vacation weeks are to be take Monday-Friday and they get both weekends as well but we only charge them for the 5 weekdays per each vacation week. They also get 5 sick days. For our PGY4’s fellowship interviews we allow up to 10 additional days. This is for their travel time and interviews, not 10 interviews. Each class gets a sponsored meeting each year by the department.
PGY-2’s – Fall OTA Residents Fracture Course and Annual Meeting
PGY-3’s – Musculoskeletal Pathology in Gainesville
PGY-4’s – AAOS Annual Meeting
PGY-5’s – Maine Review CourseWhen traveling for a paper/poster presentation they get to travel the day before and the day after the presentation.
I hope this helps.

KeymasterThis was a very hard task to tackle at our institution when we were applying for our trauma fellowship – probably the hardest part of the entire application process. As Monica mentioned you will probably have to work with your hospital administration or billing/coding department to get these numbers.
