Kim ReisingKeymasterHi David –
On the ACGME website under your ADS there is a Case Log tab. Here you will find a Reference Manual with all kinds of good information that you can share with your residents.
Work hours will vary with programs depending on which system they utilize for tracking their work hours. Which system do you use? We use Medhub. Our residents get their training on this when they do their GME orientation/onboarding.

January 28, 2022 at 8:20 am in reply to: ARCOS needs YOU- January 31 Deadline is Approaching Fast! #3214
Kim ReisingKeymasterHi everyone – Happy Friday!
One last final reminder that the registration for our Annual Meeting is Monday, January 31. If you are planning to attend and have not completed your registration please do so by 5:00pm EST on Monday, January 31.
Registration link: https://arcosonline.org/upcoming-events/#!event-list
Also as mentioned in our post on January 21, if we do not meet a certain number of registered attendees for the annual meeting by 5:00 pm EST on Monday, January 31, the in-person meeting will have to be canceled.
Who’s ready for Chicago? Who’s ready for some networking with best group of coordinators?
I am! Let’s do this ARCOS!
Kim ReisingKeymasterHere is what I shared with David.
We only have to report the milestones twice per academic year (mid-year and end of the year), as required by the ACGME milestones reporting.
How you choose to use them as an assessment tool with rotations, evaluations, CCC meetings, etc. is up to your program.
Kim ReisingKeymasterThanks for sharing Vicky. You are absolutely right about Ginny, she was fun loving and always had a smile on her face. To me she was like the ARCOS cheerleader! She was very passionate about ARCOS and its members. At our meetings she made sure everyone was comfortable and was always asking if anyone needed anything. Lots of good ARCOS memories of Ginny for sure.
Kim ReisingKeymasterHi everyone –
I reached out to my contact at the AAOS (again) to see if they will be able to honor us (program coordinators) a discounted rate for the AAOS Meeting registration. She is checking into it and will let me know as soon as she can.
Kim ReisingKeymasterOur GME office sends it out September 1 and its due October 31.
Kim ReisingKeymasterHi Helen,
Thursday morning, the AAOS opening ceremony is off-site at the Convention Center. If you plan to attend, you will need to do the registration via the AAOS website.
Kim
Kim ReisingKeymasterYes, the scores will be released sometime during the week of December 13. Good luck to everyone – I hope your programs scored well!
Kim ReisingKeymasterYes, absolutely this will be discussed at our meeting.
Kim ReisingKeymasterMine did not go out either via ERAS after several attempts.
I went ahead and did a blind carbon copy via Outlook as well.

Kim ReisingKeymasterHi everyone,
We recently sent a communication (above) about an important opportunity for your Department and its residents and fellows. Here is a VERY IMPORTANT LINK that we did not include and it will help you to understand more clearly how this helps us all.
Please click this link:https://go.aoc-ortho.com/hubfs/JIO-Ad_Residents-r1.pdf
Thanks!
Kim ReisingKeymasterI used to but it was taken away from us.
Kim ReisingKeymasterWell said Laurel! It has been a long journey but today is special for so many reasons but most importantly is that we are finally getting the recognition we deserve on a national level! Thank you AHME! I am super proud to be a part of ARCOS and have all of you as my colleagues. There is not a better group of program coordinators, administrators, managers, etc. out there.
I hope you all have a great day and do something special to celebrate this magnificent milestone in GME!
Kim ReisingKeymasterFollowing…looking to see if anyone has a 360 evaluation or a patient evaluation of the resident including the new milestones that they are willing to share.
Thanks – Kim
