I’ve used My Clinical Exchange a few times.  I had to schedule rotations for my medical students  with a hospital that used My Clinical Exchange.  I didn’t use it enough to become an expert, but I thought it was not user friendly.    I had to email customer support every time.  It was pretty nice for the hospital that required onboarding this way.  They didn’t have to do anything.

    Hello,

For Maternity leave, both parents get to keep their sick or vacation time.  My company and Short Term Disability make up the 100% pay  while parents are out bonding/healing with child. I’ve attached our detailed policy.

Here is our hospital policy that our residents follow, but it’s up to the PD of each specialty to decide how much time is made up.

Paid leave for parents to care for and bond with their child, up to age 18, who is a newly added member of the teammate’s family through birth, adoption or legal placement

    For all teammate parents:

    • Four consecutive weeks paid leave for parents

    For teammates who give birth:

    • A combined total of six consecutive weeks of paid leave for birth mothers (combining paid parental leave and additional time for recovery)
