<p style=”text-align: left;”>I almost overlooked the email that contained the username and password.    It was sent on 10/23 with this subject line: “Welcome to the Orthopaedic In-Training Examination.”</p>

    Hello,

I couldn’t join this session yesterday.  Can I have a link to the recording?

The first week in September I  selected all my residents that are going to take the exam and clicked “save”.  (I’ve done this multiple times since then).   However in the “order summary”, it says I have no orders.  Is this normal?

Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC will be virtual.  Not our choice.

    Hello,

This is my first year attending and I had a question about the events on Thursday.  Is the whole day held off-site or is it the just the first 10:30am AAOS ceremonial meeting?  I was trying to decide if I need to pay the AAOS registration fee or not.

    Thank you,

    Helen

Can someone explain the process of requesting meeting space to me?  I received an email after I submitted the meeting request and the email said to make my inquiry to the hotel.  Is there a webpage that contains all email addresses of the hotels?  I feel like I’m missing something.

    Hi Amy,

You can email me at helen.womack@atriumhealth.org.  I’ll be happy to chat with whomever and I’ll give you the contact information for the person who works at the other hospital that requires the My Clinical Exchange onboarding.

I’ve used My Clinical Exchange a few times.  I had to schedule rotations for my medical students  with a hospital that used My Clinical Exchange.  I didn’t use it enough to become an expert, but I thought it was not user friendly.    I had to email customer support every time.  It was pretty nice for the hospital that required onboarding this way.  They didn’t have to do anything.

    Hello,

For Maternity leave, both parents get to keep their sick or vacation time.  My company and Short Term Disability make up the 100% pay  while parents are out bonding/healing with child. I’ve attached our detailed policy.

Here is our hospital policy that our residents follow, but it’s up to the PD of each specialty to decide how much time is made up.

Paid leave for parents to care for and bond with their child, up to age 18, who is a newly added member of the teammate’s family through birth, adoption or legal placement

    For all teammate parents:

    • Four consecutive weeks paid leave for parents

    For teammates who give birth:

    • A combined total of six consecutive weeks of paid leave for birth mothers (combining paid parental leave and additional time for recovery)
