That is great information! It shows that most of us do all three roles and yet are called “Coordinators”. Too bad our Employers don’t acknowledge all we do.  We do all that plus numerous other tasks too many to compile.

Hope everyone is well and miss you all.

    Good Afternoon:

Would it be possible to arrange for training sessions for those not familiar with Zoom or Web Ex based format with regards to creating an interview season? Or would template suggestions? I know I am not alone in this plight. Any suggestions for those of us not sure where to turn for format ideas, etc.

    Thank You,
    Donna

    Good Morning:

We just completed our 10 year site visit and it went very well. You will get an email with documentation requesting everything that is needed. As long as you submit the documentation on time, as well as, have the documentation needed for the actual day. It’s really not bad. I felt very good throughout all. Just be organized and create binders according to what is requested on the documentation. The information needed prior to the visit can be extremely time consuming.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE NEW ACGME BLOCK DIAGRAM. We used it, however, I was told many aren’t and are getting “dinged” for it.

Make sure you have transcripts of up to date CME training for Attendings, Updated CV for PD in ADS, updated Licensure info in ADS for all Faculty.

You will need your Self-Study that was submitted to compare against what changes you have made since submittal and aims/goals. You will also need to prepare a “Summary of Achievements”. They will have all these templates with the email sent showing detailed instructions. I will say I did 90% myself and came in on weekends.

Please make sure evaluations are in order and how your team evaluates Residents.

Please note that the request for your program may be different. However, I will give you some info below to get an idea.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for the template 🙂

Our weekly schedule changes and they pick/choose where they want to be based on their service assignments that are quarterly. It hasn’t been an issue in the past until this year. I will look into additional formatting. Thanks again.

This is what I use for our graduates based on the ACGME competencies. We use for Fellows, however, it can be applicable for graduating Residents and the goals are the same.

I am having issues with this and it was noted to us by the ACGME as well. I am in a One Year Fellowship Program with 3 Fellows. Their diagram isn’t applicable to our rotation schedule. Any Fellowship Programs care to share?

    Thanks,

    Donna

I am in a Fellowship Program so it may differ. However, when the annual ADS is due – I obtain our departmental “scholarly activity” document which is a compilation of Attendings and Fellows and contains all that information. I extract my information from that document…otherwise I would wait forever. LOL
