I have Bookings as a part of my Microsoft Outlook package.  It is an app in Outlook.   I used an online tutorial and haven’t had any problems.

    Hi!

We interview in person and I use Bookings to schedule interviews.  Also, this information is helpful.

    “Dear Program Directors and Coordinators,

Good afternoon! We wanted to share the critical dates for the upcoming hand fellowship cycle.

    ·                   Portal opened up for Hand fellows on September 16

Universal application deadline: Monday, November 17
Recommended interview invitation date is December 15

We strongly recommend sending interview invitations by 12:00 midnight EST on December 15, and recommend giving invited applicants 48 hours to respond before extending invitations to other applicants — that response deadline would be Wednesday, December 17 at 12:00 midnight EST.

If you would like to add your program’s interview dates to the master calendar, you can access it here: https://www.assh.org/s/hfda-interview-calendar. Click “Create Event” and complete the form that pops up.

If you have any trouble with the portal or the calendar, please reach out to hfda@assh.org or Charlotte Grill (cgrill@assh.org).

We have also attached the powerpoint presentation from the HFDA retreat at Annual meeting 2026.  We hope this is a valuable resource.  For next steps, we will be preparing and sharing the next HFDA survey to share with you all in the coming months.

    Thank you,

    Catherine Curtin, MD, Chair
    Philip Blazar, MD, Chair-Elect

I have found some cute ortho gifts at cafepress.com. Cute onsies, “future orthopedic surgeon”, “orthopedic surgeon in training”, etc. I found one with a medical diagram of a hand for one of our hand surgeon’s baby.
