We are not planning a zoom pre-interview social. We agree the interview day is sufficient and another zoom event could be overwhelming during this stressful time.

With my first child I had to train an Administrative Assistant within our Ortho Department to help and I was in constant communication by text with her while I was out. This was not ideal but it worked. The second time around, we thankfully had a Fellowship Coordinator who was able to cover for me while I was out. For both of my maternity leaves, I made sure majority of my important deadlines were met before I went out. Good luck to you and congrats!!
