This information below is for a survey intended for Program Directors and Associate Program Directors. Since I wasn’t able to find a list of PD/APD contact information through CORD, I thought I would send this to all of you and ask if you would be willing to forward this to your PD/APD.  Our faculty member, Dr. Duncan Ramsey, and Lance Lamore, the medical student on the project, would very much appreciate it!

Subject: Orthopedic Residency DEI Research Survey Invitation

Dear Program Director,

I hope you’re doing well. My name is Lance Lamore, and I’m reaching out because I’m conducting an IRB approved research study about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in orthopedic surgery residency programs. The goal is to understand program directors’ perspectives on current attitudes, challenges, and effective practices related to DEI. Given your leadership role and experience, your insights would be extremely valuable. I’d greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes (about 5 minutes) to complete a short survey at the link below. Your responses will remain confidential unless you choose otherwise. There’s also an option at the end of the survey if you’re interested in participating in a brief follow-up interview.
