SF Match Application Deadline

[Vanessa Glotzbach]

Hi All! For those of you who use SF Match for your fellowships, which date do you set for your application deadline? SF Match lists the target deadline as September 2nd, and I’ve had a number of candidates reach out to say they will not have their items in by then. I typically pick a later date, but was curious which date your program picks?

[Maia Knox]

Hey Vanessa! I have always set it as 11/1… Do not ask me why, but I feel that is enough time for candidates to get their apps done and submitted, and for my PD and APD to review and determine who to invite.

We typically choose the last Friday in October. – Donna

Hi Vanessa,

We also set our deadline to November 1st. This gives us enough time for review and to extend offers by December 1st.

Thanks,

Marie DiNardo
