I am being tasked by my department to put together a pros vs. cons list for the two Part 1 review courses: Miller’s Orthopaedic Review vs. Maine Orthopaedic Review. We have previously always sent our residents to Miller’s due to it being earlier than Maine.
Cost-wise, I know that the Maine course is slightly cheaper with a housing option and meals included. I also believe there is a virtual option for both courses.
If your residents have attended either or both courses, could you please let me know if you’ve found that the residents benefit from one more than the other, do better on boards attending one vs. the other, etc.?
