Here is what we are doing. We have called back all residents at other sites.
The residents will be divided in 4 teams
PGY 5, PGY 4, PGY 3 & PGY2
A given team will be on call for 24 hours and will be off for 72 hours afterwards
Pass on rounds presence should be limited as much as possible to the absolutely necessary residents
If the work load is light, Chief on call will manage “ on site resident “requirements according to his / her best judgment
