UC has mandated virtual interviews for ACGME programs only.  So, Residency, Sports, and Hand at UCLA will be virtual.  However, we are allowed “in-person second looks.”  We plan to certify our rank list before the second look so there is no bias.  Our Residency PD feels virtual is more equitable and will continue with virtual after the mandate is lifted.

However, all the non-ACGME fellowships will be in-person.  Fellowship Programs feel at a disadvantage as other competitive programs are in-person.

Hello Sarah,

This is a list from a site visit in 2019!  I hope this helps you.  Now that we all have Medhub or New Innovations, Box etc, these items can all be scanned and uploaded so you no longer need paper files.  We have “Virtual Files” for each resident and fellow on the shared drive.

Yes, we charge $50.  Most programs charge here at UCLA.  https://medschool.ucla.edu/education/residencies-and-fellowships/credentials-verification

I don’t charge for the first year after training and I don’t charge the VA who we are affiliated with.

Good Morning!

I just updated ours in Medhub. If you have questions please let me know.  RGReyes@mednet.ucla.edu.  I use the same rotation eval and rename it for all rotations such as Sports, Hand, Joints, etc.

My question to you all is, does anyone have faculty ask to complete evaluations as a group?  Does your PD allow this?
