    University of Iowa covers AO in R2 year up to $2500. We also cover Miller Review in R5 year up to $3000. Overages can come out of their discretionary funds, which they get $4000 to use over the course of their residency.

    The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Iowa will have an opening for a PGY-3 as of July 1, 2024.

    We are looking for someone who will have successfully completed PGY-1 and PGY-2 in an ACGME orthopaedic surgery residency program and can meet UIHC institutional employment eligibility requirements before hire.

    Interested candidates should email the requested information to ortho-residency@healthcare.uiowa.edu:

    CV
    USMLE transcript
    A letter of recommendation from your current PD and a faculty mentor
    A personal statement/letter of intent
    If offered an interview please be prepared to provide:

    Rotation schedule for previous educational experiences
    Summative competency-based performance (ACGME Milestones Report)
    We will be accepting applications until closing of business on Friday, June 14, 2024.

    How do your residents acquire their CPT codes for logging cases? Do you give them a list of cases they where in with codes provided or are your residents responsible for keeping track of cases, codes prior to logging?
