I had problems as well.  After two attempts and getting error message I called ERAS. I had to send them in smaller groups.

We do not get a cell phone stipend.  But our wireless carrier does give us a discount for our institution.

Thanks for the help. We were finally able to get into the reports by clicking on the 2019 report tab.

How would you advertise other than your website. Is it possible to get a list of Orthopaedic Interest Group students?

I doubt any of our Faculty/Residents will be able to attend. I imagine our spending/travel will be extending through June but i have not heard anything for sure.

Currently, our institution has cancelled rotations through August. I am hoping we can have some this fall but it is unknown at this time. It would be good to get a list of programs that will have Sub I’s and possibly start times for our medical students.

Our coordinators group here at UAMS have been talking about different ideas. One program is collecting money from Faculty members and will order dinner for each graduating resident and their families and have it delivered to their homes. The rest of the dept will join in for a virtual dinner and graduation via Zoom.

Each year we have our graduation at our institution in an auditorium. I had thought instead of everyone coming there we could just have the graduates come and one at a time walk across the stage for graduation and the chair and PD could give their diplomas and their families and the dept members can watch via Zoom or FB. It would be a smaller group and could stay 6 feet apart. I doubt this one will fly but trying to come up with something fun.

Most all of our faculty are involved in the interview process and see each applicant. We have been pairing the faculty by subspecialty; our chair and vice chair have a room and the chief residents are in a room to themselves.
Usually it is a 10 minute interview and 5 minute break in between. It runs pretty smooth.

The chairman and PD meet with the group first thing in the morning to give brief talks and introduction.

Our residents will give tours of the hospital after the interview.

Our residents usually are around unless their is patient care needed to visit with the applicants and have lunch.
