The journal is peer-reviewed and published by The University of New Mexico Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. The Western Journal of Orthopaedics, receives submissions from around the country centered on research relevant to orthopaedic-focused surgery and engineering as our goal is MEDLINE indexing. We are now seeking submissions for the 2023 journal, our 12th volume. Submissions are due by November 15, 2022. We accept manuscripts from orthopaedic researchers pertaining to review articles, scientific articles, education articles, new technology articles, technical notes, biomechanical studies, translational research, case reports, and reflections relating to orthopaedic advances and techniques.
