    Hello ARCOS Members!

On behalf of the ARCOS Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that at that annual conference in Las Vegas, we will be electing one new member for our current open board position, Member-at-Large, along with electing a new President-Elect and Treasurer-Elect for the Executive Board of Directors.

    Member-at-Large (1 position):

Will begin a five-year term at the conclusion of the March 2023 meeting.

    President-Elect (1 position):

Will begin a two-year term, leading to President (2 years) and Immediate Past President (2 years), at the conclusion of the March 2023 meeting.  Note that the President-Elect will be selected from current ARCOS Board of Directors members.

    Treasurer-Elect (1 position):

Will begin a one-year term, overlapping with the current Treasurer’s third year. The Treasurer shall serve a term of three years, including first year as Treasurer-Elect.  The Treasurer-Elect must be current member of the ARCOS Board of Directors.  The Treasurer-Elect will also be selected from current ARCOS Board of Directors members.

    Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors (BOD) consists of 11 volunteer members. Each member is elected to a term of five years. This five-year term may be extended as needed, if elected to an executive position. The BOD will consist of six members-at-large elected from membership (this includes the treasurer-elect), and the executive board consisting of past president, president, president-elect, secretary, and treasurer

    •        A new member begins their term at the end of the annual meeting from which they were elected until they are replaced by a newly elected member after 5 years.
