    Dear ARCOS Members –

I want to take a moment to send my thoughts and prayers to the ARCOS members who may have been impacted by Hurricane Ian. I hope that you have a strong week and that this message finds you safe and well!

Thank you Artina, we appreciate your thoughts and prayers.  My institution and many co-workers experienced flooding but we are all safe 🙂

You’re welcome, Julie! It is good to know that you and your co-workers are safe. I saw from the local news that citizens in Fort Myers, FL were significantly impacted from the storm – including some not having access to water or ice. In case it is helpful, here are links to a couple of organizations providing relief and accepting donations (not necessarily endorsing these groups, but providing information):

Thanks Artina and all- MUSC in Charleston did pretty well during Hurricane Ian- some high winds and flooding -but flooding downtown happens pretty much every month during high tide.

Our prayers and best wishes go out to our friends on Florida’s west coast and in central Florida!  Joan
