Hi everyone,
I have attended the Thalamus training sessions and attempted to follow the directions on their website. But I am still overwhelmed, and we aren’t even planning to use Thalamus to is fullest extent. If anyone can help me with these two issues, would you mind setting up a zoom meeting with me?
1. How can I ensure that the interview dates in Thalamus don’t become active until noon on Tuesday, November 19th?
2. How can I set up a review of applicants interviewed so faculty can fill out a survey for each applicant they interviewed on the Thalamus app?

To ensure that the interview dates don’t become active you will want to make sure the event is ‘Closed’. There is a toggle switch for this in the event details if you’re in the calendar. You’ll need to manually go in and switch the toggle to off on Tuesday 11/19 at noon to open the scheduling.
I’m not sure about the survey part as we track that outside of Thalamus.

Does the attached look right to you?
I’m so disappointed I have to change it on the 19th as I will be on vacation. 🙁
Thank you for your help!

I don’t know what to tell you about the vacation thing. I don’t think there’s a way to automate it, but you can reach out to Thalamus support. I’ve always had to manually open it – and have experienced lag time with the system being overwhelmed. It’s a great system, but nothing is perfect.

Fortunately, I’ll be 5 hours behind the East Coast, so I can flip the switch when I wake up. 🙂
