Dear ARCOS members –
Returning to the line-up for the 2020 Association of Residency Coordinators in Orthopaedic Surgery (ARCOS) meeting are our Roundtable Discussions – scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2:00pm-4:00pm.
We are looking forward to this year’s session!
We need your help! We are asking for ARCOS meeting attendees to volunteer as a table facilitator for our roundtable session. If any of the topics below are in your area of expertise, we hope that you will sign up!
Below are the topics for which a table facilitator is needed:
1) Best Practice: Annual Program Evaluation
2) Best Practice: Clinical Competency Committee
3) Best Practice: Coordinator wellness/burnout
4) Best Practice: Off-boarding
5) Best Practice: Orientation
6) Best Practice: Program Evaluation Committee
7) Best practice: Resident Recruitment
8) Best Practice: Resident and fellow wellness/burnout
9) Wisdom of the elders… where your burning questions meet experience. If you have been a program coordinator for 10 years or more, we would love to have you facilitate this table!Each table will have 8-10 ARCOS members for four 20-minute sessions. Each member will be able to rotate through 4 different topics. In other words, be prepared to facilitate four 20-minute discussions of the same topic at your table.
Following are the requirements of all facilitators:
–Pre-meeting training (This training will be emailed to you in the upcoming weeks.)
–Create conversation starter questions/comments to get each discussion started. AV equipment will not be available, so feel free to provide handouts or some type of informational document or visual aid for your table; however, no handout, or document is required.
