    Can you tell me in ACGME accreditation, during the PGY-5 year do the residents have to have a certain length of time in each rotation? Or can they complete a 6 week rotation if needed? Appreciate any feedback!

    Hi Stephanie.  On the standardized block schedule it says this in reference to PGY5 rotation length.

    ‘-All rotations during the PGY-2-5 years (other than night float, international electives, and research) must be at least six weeks in duration;

    Hope that helps.

    Block Schedule/Rotation question for WebADS-

    During our PGY 2 & PGY 3 year, they do a 3 month rotation on trauma. For both years, this rotation is split with time on Night Float, while still on the trauma service. My question is on the block diagram, should I include a column separating night float and trauma (see attached)? Or can I just do Ortho Trauma (13 weeks)?

    Thanks y’all!
