Can you tell me in ACGME accreditation, during the PGY-5 year do the residents have to have a certain length of time in each rotation? Or can they complete a 6 week rotation if needed?
It is my understand that all rotations have to be a minimum of 6 weeks in length (except for PGY 1 year). There is no maximum number of weeks. So yes, they could have a 6 week rotation.
