Rooms for non-member housing has opened now. I just spoke with Wyndham Jade and there are several rooms available at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside (home of our 2018 ARCOS conference). Thank You, Joni! I was able to get a “block room” reservation. I had another reservation privately that I was able to cancel. I made it months ago just in case. Thanks again 🙂

I just got a call that Joni said to cancel my reservation? I called yesterday per this announcement saying that we were told that we could get a non-member room. Now I just got a call that I have no room – and I cancelled my private reservation and now have no room 🙁

I received a voicemail from Wyndham Jade and they had mistakenly given one of the rooms from the ARCOS “room block” to you. These blocks of rooms are specifically for our meeting speakers and they are only permitted to let the rooms be given to those on a list I gave them. The voicemail from Wyndham Jade stated they had made an error by allowing a room in the block to go to someone not on the room block list. The manager stated she had spoken with Donna and let her know about their mistake, and gave her another room at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Very sorry for the confusion Donna, and hopefully you have been taken care of.
