    Dear program coordinator,

Hope this email finds you well. Here at the University of Miami Orthopaedics Department, we are investigating the occupational injuries that our residents are exposed to during the training. Noisy environments, poor ergonomics, and radiation exposure are a few examples of the stress orthopaedic residents endure during training. Thus, we have undertaken this survey study to determine the prevalence and type of injuries orthopaedic residents face across the nation. The survey is anonymous; no personal identifying information is collected.

We humbly ask for your program’s participation in our endeavor. By understanding these injury trends, we may be able to implement appropriate interventions to reduce the risk of injury. We wholeheartedly appreciate your time and consideration.
