One of our faculty recently found out that the Radiology Residency program at our institution is using a tool called “McKesson Study Share” (commonly referred to as Study Share) in McKesson’s PACS imaging tool used with EMRs. Our hospital uses Epic as our EMR software.
The interesting part of this tool is that you can create de-identified cases including imaging and tabs titled: History, Findings, DDx, Diagnosis, Discussion, References, Comments and About. These cases can be built and saved in folders as self-study tools. Our Radiology residency program has created over 600 cases which are available to their residents. Our faculty are planning on creating a repository of Ortho specific cases.
Do any other programs use this feature/tool? Is there currently a national repository of Ortho specific cases available? If not, can we create one?
