Good Afternoon,
I am reaching out to see how many Orthopaedic Coordinators are still teleworking, hybrid work schedule or back in the office full time. Please reply to this thread if you don’t mind sharing what your new 2021 academic year work schedule is looking like these days!
Thank you for your time!

July 7, 2021 at 4:25 pm #2813Jolene KruegerParticipantHello,
I’ve been in the office full time the entire time (since the pandemic started). I was considered essential personnel and had paperwork to be on campus.
Thanks!
Jolene
July 7, 2021 at 4:34 pm #2815Amy KrausParticipantBeen in the office the entire time. Department offices are in a building considered on campus but separate from patient care. Considered essential personnel so expected to maintain office hours.
I was able to maintain my work remotely, during the start of interviews, when my entire family had COVID.
July 7, 2021 at 4:37 pm #2816Monica WelshKeymasterI’ve been back in the office since March 2021 full time. Worked from home for almost a year (came into the office only if I absolutely had to).

July 7, 2021 at 4:46 pm #2819Ramona GuydenParticipantThis week started my hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 at home. I am in the office Tuesday-Thursday 9:30am-12:30pm then I go home to finish working and WFH Monday and Friday.
Before my hybrid schedule started I was at home full time and only going into the office when necessary.July 8, 2021 at 12:29 pm #2822AnonymousInactiveThe University is still permitting employees to work from. I have been coming into the office full time since the summer of 2020.
July 8, 2021 at 12:35 pm #2823Michelle AugerParticipantI’ve been working in the office from the beginning.
July 8, 2021 at 1:02 pm #2824Laurie LynchKeymasterHi Chandra!
WMed just initiated our new hybrid option July 6. I had been working from home, with rare exception, since March 23, 2020. For our hybrid, each program is working with their supervisors to determine what schedule/coverage meets department needs. Primary care residencies are in the office more often as their clinics are at our location, as are their residents. Surgery residency will be on site for their conference day, and for specified events. Our plans will be confirmed next week, but I am anticipating on site 2.5 days, remote 2.5 days, alternating days with our admin to optimize office coverage.

July 8, 2021 at 1:54 pm #2825AnonymousInactiveWe worked one at a time on a rotating basis for a year, then two at a time through June 2021. We will now be in the office four days a week, one day at home. Each of us chose a permanent day to be at home. No more rotating!
July 8, 2021 at 1:58 pm #2826Sara KingParticipantWe are able to work where we need to be for the day. I go in to the office on days that I have meetings or I am needed onsite (orientation, interviews, ect). Otherwise, we are free to work from home.
July 8, 2021 at 2:03 pm #2827AnonymousInactiveHere at U of Kentucky I was home for two months and have been back in the office since.
July 9, 2021 at 9:11 am #2829Viveka SpiveyParticipantI have been doing a hybrid schedule since the beginning of the shutdowns in March of 2020. On average I am in the office 2 days a week. Sometimes more if needed.
July 9, 2021 at 9:29 am #2830Joan GraeschParticipantAt MUSC I have been back at work fulltime since April 2021. Although I did work from home yesterday due to TS Elsa coming through Charleston on Wed night-TH morning. Wish they would allow us to work from home a few days a week!
