Greetings, Members!!!
Please take a few moments to check out the Save the Date announcement that has been posted on the ARCOS Home Page. Here you will find the link to book your room and other important information regarding the 19th Annual ARCOS Conference in February. That’s right, February!!! It’s coming up soon.
There are several new things this year, including Early Bird rates and an earlier start to the conference. We will begin on Tuesday morning with the New Coordinator Session, followed by Lunch, then dive right into our Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speaker, and a packed agenda. Additionally, on Tuesday evening, we will gather for the ARCOS Reception, where we can all have some fun with the members we met during the conference that day. This year, we intend to have all events at the conference hotel.
At the San Francisco Marriott Union Square, where our conference will be held, ARCOS has reserved a block of rooms. To reserve a room at the conference hotel, kindly use this link. The link is also included on the Save the Date notification.
The final day of the ARCOS Conference will be Thursday, February 15, with a full agenda for you to enjoy ending around 4PM. The Preliminary Program will be sent out in September before registration opens.
We hope this information will aid you in making your travel arrangements.
Please also consider becoming the Patsi Furr Coordinator Spotlight Lecturer for this conference. The presenter of this 30-minute presentation receives free registration to the conference. Don’t forget to begin creating your poster to present at the conference, as well. Both activities will not only be educational for ARCOS members, but you are also building your resumes with rich professionalism projects, and representing your programs and institutions well.
Should you have any questions, you can post here, contact me, or any board member.
~Laurel, Your ARCOS President
