Good morning – wanted to get feedback on how other ortho programs have their faculty complete the new milestones, 2.0, on each resident and if this is done during the CCC Meeting or before.  If anyone has any sample attachments that would help, please send.  Thanks, Deidre

    Hi Deidre,

Our milestones are populated using OrthoBullets PASS (https://www.orthobullets.com/anatomy/12103/pass).  Residents send pass/fail evals to faculty for surgery cases regularly, complete quizzes and questions, and are assessed by peers and faculty for professionalism.  All this data goes into their individual ACGME milestones and then we evaluate each resident at the CCC meeting.  It has made the CCC meeting shorter, more concise, and the committee members so happy.  It has been a learning curve for all of us but at the end of the day, it is so worth it!

Hope this helps or someone else can give you a system that works for them!!

    Hello everyone,

If you are using the new ABOS KSB site, the skills and behavioral assessment are mapped to the Milestones, which are automatically complete.  You can find the results of the Milestones on the Resident tab to the right.  This should eliminate the need for any other Milestone assessment in New Innovations, Med Hub, etc.
