Does anyone have an sample PowerPoint of any other form of presentation you share with residents on recording case logs in ACGME and reporting Duty Hours that they would be willing to share?
Years ago there was talk that ACGME was going to put together something on Case Logs, but I don’t think anything ever came of it. We do not currently have a standard that we use during Orientation and we desperately need something new as what we present in person verbally is not doing the trick.February 10, 2022 at 12:09 pm #3239Kim ReisingKeymasterHi David –
On the ACGME website under your ADS there is a Case Log tab. Here you will find a Reference Manual with all kinds of good information that you can share with your residents.
Work hours will vary with programs depending on which system they utilize for tracking their work hours. Which system do you use? We use Medhub. Our residents get their training on this when they do their GME orientation/onboarding.

And our GME leaves it up to departments to ensure Case Logs and Duty Hours training is done in our departmental Orientations. I was hoping to have a PP that I could put under Resident Resources on the web so they get the presentation in Orientation and then can reference anytime they need to.

Thanks for sharing your manual!
I am going to use it! Also the template you used is the same for our Resident Handbook! It’s really nice for me how that worked out! 😉
