ARCOS Professional Development Scholarship

ARCOS is pleased to announce that limited scholarships are available for our members to attend the 20th Annual ARCOS Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in February 2025.

Purpose: The purpose of this scholarship is to assist ARCOS members with financial difficulty to attend the annual conference.

In order to qualify, the requesting coordinator must:

• Be an active member of ARCOS
• Be current on ARCOS Institutional dues ($275) for July 2024 – June 2025
• Submit a letter of request from their program director.  The letter should include a statement of financial need.  Letter should be emailed to Kim Reising, Immediate Past-President at weingaka@ucmail.uc.edu

The number of scholarships provided will vary from year to year. The ARCOS Board of Directors will review all requests for the Professional Development Scholarship and select recipients based on the needs from their program in order to attend the annual conference.  A coordinator can only receive the scholarship once in 3 years.

The scholarship will cover the conference registration fee ($650) and up to $1,000 towards the following items with proper receipts and documentation:

• Coach airfare
• Hotel accommodations
• Mileage if driving to/from the annual conference
• Ground transportation to/from airport/hotel
• ARCOS Registration will be paid by means of a registration waiver from ARCOS

Reimbursement for the above expenses will be provided to the program/institution, upon:

• Completion of the conference
• Documented coordinator attendance at the conference (daily sign in and participation)
• Receipt and review of conference expense documentation (itemized receipts)

**Please note, ARCOS will not reimburse the recipient(s) directly. Reimbursement check will be made payable to the program only.

The deadline to apply for the Professional Development Scholarship is October 23, 2024

Notice of scholarship will be provided to programs via email by no later than October 28, 2024
