ARCOS Professional Development Scholarship

ARCOS is pleased to announce that limited scholarships are available for our members to attend the 18th Annual ARCOS Conference in Las Vegas, March 2023.

Purpose: The purpose of this scholarship is to assist ARCOS members with financial difficulty to attend the annual conference.

In order to qualify, the requesting coordinator must:

• Be an active member of ARCOS
• Be current on ARCOS Institution dues ($275) for 2023
• Submit a letter of request from their program director. The letter should include a statement of financial need. Letter should be emailed to Kim Reising, Past-President at weingaka@ucmail.uc.edu

The number of scholarships provided will vary from year to year. The ARCOS Board of Directors will review all requests for the Professional Development Scholarship and select recipients based on the needs from their program in order to attend the annual conference.

The scholarship will cover the conference registration fee ($550) and up to $1,000.00 towards the following items:

• Coach airfare
• Hotel accommodations
• Mileage if driving to/from the annual conference
• Ground transportation to/from airport/hotel
• Registration will be paid by means of a registration waiver from ARCOS.

Reimbursement for the above expense will be provided to the program/institution, upon:

• Completion of the conference
• Documented coordinator attendance at the conference
• Receipt and review of conference expense documentation (receipts)

The deadline to apply for the Professional Development Scholarship is December 15, 2022

Notice of scholarship will be provided to program(s) via email by December 31, 2022
