    Dear Members!!!

For a lot of you, “it’s already been A Week” as anxiety about the OITE lingers – by all accounts the issues have been solved.  Thank Goodness!!   We all support you in the concern you have felt or continue to deal with, it proves once again how resilient and strong you are!!!

Never doubt that YOU have what it takes!!!  🙂

And that is the segue toARCOS Members Asked….”

Every year during the May Meeting of the ARCOS Board of Directors, we examine the Post-Conference Survey that you, the membership, took the time to complete.  We truly appreciate your feedback.  We discovered from the survey that you requested more opportunities for membership to be involved in the conference.  So, we set out to make sure you have even more possibilities to participate!

Making a poster and presenting in the Patsy Furr Coordinator Spotlight may require more time than you have available this year (but planning for next year can start now)!  There are other ways you can participate this year without a lot of time commitment!

    • Consider being a Round Table Facilitator – no experience necessary!!
    • How about joining your PD/APD on the panel, and/or inviting them to join us on Wednesday so they can witness why ARCOS is so important to you?

These opportunities, despite a zoom coaching meeting, will enhance your experience and do not require any prior expertise.  YOU CAN DO THIS!! 😊

Please open and save the PDF attachment as it has all the links you need to learn more and join in!!

Deadlines are 11/30/2023 so we want to hear from you SOON!

(Links are best when you are already logged into your ARCOS account.)  Below is a jpg of the attachment with no links!

    Happy Monday!

A reminder of the upcoming deadline on 11/30/23 to register your Program Director for the “Program Coordinator and Director Relationships: Fostering a Healthy Working Partnership” session on 2/14/24 at 2:30 pm at our Annual Conference.  Our Happy Hour is right after and we would love for your PD to stay too!  It is important for us to have an accurate headcount for these two events.  We’d really appreciate you letting us know if your PD will be present at one or both events!

Also, there is still time to sign up yourself and your PD to be part of the 8-person panel to showcase your working relationship.  We will randomly select 4 duos after the deadline.

Click here to register your PD attendance and/or sign up for the Panel!!

    Thank you!

Hello, I was wondering if we are able to attend the session even if our PD is not attending the conference?

    #5186

    Hi Gabrielle!

Are you attending the ARCOS conference? If you are, then yes your PD can attend JUST the panel and HH. PD’s do not have to be registered for the whole ARCOS conference to attend this session and HH.  There is no charge for the PDs to attend these two events.  But we need to have an accurate headcount 🙂

    Hope this answers your question!

Hi All- Looking forward to seeing everyone in San Francisco in a few weeks.  Question- does anyone need a room at the lower rate for Monday night?

I booked a room at the Marriott Union Square for Monday 2/12- but don’t fly in until Tuesday 2/13.  The hotel won’t allow me to cancel the Monday night reservation without losing the conference rate for Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  I can’t afford $600 a night for a room- so unless someone can use the room- I might have to ‘eat’ the $350 a night rate on Monday.  Let me know if anyone can use the room w/ 2 double beds on Monday- and mayeb I can add your name to my reservation for Monday night.  thanks!  Joan at MUSC email = graesch@musc.edu
