ARCOS Annual Meeting in Chicago – March 2022

Hello ARCOS members!

I hope everyone is doing well and surviving this busy time of the year with CCC meetings, milestones reports, and interviews.

I wanted to share some exciting news with you all. We finally have our meeting space confirmed for Chicago!! The meeting will be held at the Hilton Chicago Hotel (720 S. Michigan Ave), March 22-25, 2022.

Please go the AAOS website to book your room. Rooms at the Hilton Chicago are $219 per night plus taxes. If you have any issues booking a room, please let me know.

Watch your email and the ARCOS community forum for details about the meeting registration that will be coming out next week.

Thank you all for being so patience with us as we worked through the details of securing our meeting space with the AAOS.

We are all super excited to get back to our annual meeting in-person and cannot wait to spend 4-days learning, networking, and simply just being together with the best group of coordinators in GME!

This is my first year attending and I had a question about the events on Thursday.  Is the whole day held off-site or is it the just the first 10:30am AAOS ceremonial meeting?  I was trying to decide if I need to pay the AAOS registration fee or not.

Hi Helen,

Thursday morning, the AAOS opening ceremony is off-site at the Convention Center. If you plan to attend, you will need to do the registration via the AAOS website.

Is AAOS going to give ARCOS members a discounted rate again? Last meeting I believe we were able to get $100 registration fee which seems fair if we are not planning to attend other than opening ceremony.

I reached out to my contact at the AAOS (again) to see if they will be able to honor us (program coordinators) a discounted rate for the AAOS Meeting registration. She is checking into it and will let me know as soon as she can.
