AOA/CORD June 9

As of April 15, the AOA/CORD meeting was still “on.” I am curious as to how many programs will be allowed to send faculty, residents and/or staff to this meeting June 9. Our institution has said no travel will be reimbursed through June…at least. Given the success of the online meeting in March, I am wondering if attendance would be better if they switched to that format.

I doubt any of our Faculty/Residents will be able to attend. I imagine our spending/travel will be extending through June but i have not heard anything for sure.

I doubt my residents and faculty will be attending if they do keep the AOA/CORD meeting “in-person” for Baltimore.

Our Dean just reiterated today that all institution-related travel is prohibited until at least July 1. We won’t be able to send anyone either.
