Announcing ARCOS Special Election
The ARCOS Board of Directors (BOD) has one open spot, and we are hoping YOU are our next member! Open Position: Member-at-Large (1 position) please review the Application attached for more details.
To be eligible to serve on the BOD, a member must:
· Be a current member of ARCOS
· Have attended at least two ARCOS Annual Meetings prior to applying for an open Member-At-Large position
· Be the coordinator of an ACGME accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency or fellowship program working in the day-to-day operations of the residency and/or fellowship program.
Please do not delay! The timeline is as follows:
March 23, 2023 Board of Directors Application is available (see attachment)
March 31, 2023 Submit completed application, CV, Letter of Intent, and photo
April 3, 2023 Submit a short candidacy video – it is not as daunting as it sounds!
April 4 – 9, 2023 Online Voting will be open for all members
April 10, 2023 Candidate will be notified

For the member elected, the BOD is scheduled to meet in Rosemont, IL on May 1-2, for our spring planning meeting and would like you to attend. We do understand that it is short notice and that you may only be able to attend our Fall BOD Planning Meeting, September 18-19, 2023.
This member’s term will be 2023-2028
