    Hi ARCOS members:
    Our R1s need ACLS Certification for their R1 year for their Gen Surg rotations. Often they need to be re-certified when they are applying for their fellowship. Is it a requirement for them to keep their ACLS certification current during R2-R5 years? Let me know if I should still be using the other forum instead.

    Hi Angela,

    This may be a question for your GME office. At the University of Cincinnati, all residents are required to be ACLS certified for the entire duration of their training.
