ABOS Part 1 Application now open

You all should have received the email below, but in the event it went to your junk folder as mine did, I thought I would post so everyone could remind their eligible PGY5 residents.

We have emailed your potentially eligible fifth-year residents that it is posted. If they already have an ABOS login, they can log in to their Dashboard to access the Application. If they do not, they will need to create a username and password before they can access the Application. Please inform them that the Application is now available.

Residents who are having issues with their login should contact me. I will be glad to assist them.

The completed Application must be finalized and the Application Fee must be paid by 4 pm ET on December 15, 2021. There is a final late deadline (with an additional $350 late fee) of 4 pm ET on January 5, 2022.

After residents have finalized their Applications, the ABOS will email verifications to Program Directors and Department Chairs (where applicable). The verification form(s) must be electronically signed. Their Application will not be processed until verification(s) are received by the ABOS.
