The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has established the Alan Levine Scholars in Orthopaedic Graduate Medical Education Scholarship Fund for two senior orthopaedic residents (4th or 5th year) to attend the 50 Annual AAOS Course for Orthopaedic Educators to be held November 3-7, 2019 in Itasca, IL. This course provides a unique hands-on learning opportunity for residents planning academic careers.
The Academy invites all resident coordinators to submit up to two (2) recommendations for these two resident openings. Scholarship recipients each receive free course registration as well as $500 for travel.
Please note that the competition for the two available spots has been very competitive for the past few years with an average of 40 applications received each year.
