Dear ARCOS Members,
Greetings from the ARCOS Board! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and your fall is off to a good start. The 17th Annual ARCOS Meeting is quickly approaching and it is only 6 months away! I would like to provide an update on what the ARCOS board has been working on in order to plan another great meeting for all of you.
Coming off a very successful meeting in Las Vegas, the board met at the AOA CORD meeting in San Diego this past June, for the purpose of planning the 2020 meeting. The main focus of our meeting was to review the comments and suggestions from the conference evaluation forms you completed in Las Vegas and to discuss ways in which we thought the meeting could be improved. Please note that we do take your feedback into consideration when planning future meetings. We’re always looking for suggestions from our membership regarding our annual meeting and we thank all of you for completing the conference evaluation forms. We were able to make great strides at planning yet another excellent meeting for 2020 in Orlando. The board also met again last week in Chicago to finalize the plans and we will have an agenda and registration information out to ARCOS members very soon.
I am happy to announce that we will be having our meeting at the Rosen Centre Hotel, March 24-27, 2020. Please see the attached “Save the Date” for more information.
We thank you all for your contributions in furthering our role as residency coordinators and as graduate medical education professionals. It’s due to your hard work, diligence, and dedication, that ARCOS has progressed to this point.
Keep up the good work everyone and we’ll see you in Orlando.
Sincerely,
Kim Reising
