Here’s your opportunity to help lead the future of ARCOS! We have two open positions on the Board of Directors and are looking for passionate members ready to make a difference.  If that sounds like you, we’d love to see your application!

Here are the open positions:

Members-at-Large  (2 positions)

• Will begin a five-year term at the conclusion of the February 2027 ARCOS Conference and attend the Board meeting on Thursday, February 18, 2027.

President-Elect  (1 position)

• Will begin a two-year term, leading to President (2 years) and Immediate Past President (2 years), at the conclusion of the February 2027 ARCOS Conference.  Note that the President-Elect is elected from current ARCOS Board of Directors members.

Treasurer-Elect  (1 position)

• Will begin a one-year term, overlapping with the current Treasurer’s third year.  The Treasurer shall serve a total term of three years, including first year as Treasurer-Elect.  The Treasurer-Elect will also be elected from current ARCOS Board of Directors members.

To be eligible to serve on the BOD, a member must:

• Maintain active ARCOS membership, including current annual dues
• Have attended at least two ARCOS Annual Conferences prior to applying for an open Member-At-Large position
• Be the coordinator of an ACGME accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency or fellowship program working in the day-to-day operations of the residency and/or fellowship program

The elected member will join our monthly planning meetings held via Zoom, and also meet in person at the AOA/CORD building in Rosemont, IL twice per year:

• May 3-4, 2027 – always the first Monday and Tuesday of May
• September 20-21, 2027 – always the third Monday and Tuesday of September
• Also, please plan to attend the Post-Conference Board Meeting on February 18 between the ARCOS Conference and the CORD Conference.

This member’s term will be 2027-2032
