The University of Virginia has an open Foot & Ankle Fellowship position for the 27-28 academic year. The fellowship position is available to individuals who have completed a 5 year orthopaedic surgery residency. The fellow will be exposed to a large volume of foot and ankle pathology, including deformity correction, ankle arthroplasty, advanced arthroscopy/foot and ankle sports medicine, tendon reconstruction, diabetic care and trauma. The fellow will work directly with three attendings in the clinic and operating room to develop the necessary skills to succeed in an academic or private practice setting. Extensive clinical and basic science research opportunities are available, with protected time allotted to explore specific interests. Applications can be sent to Dr Truitt Cooper via the San Francisco Match where we are listed as having an open position. Please contact Mindy Franke if you have any questions.
