Courtney MatlachKeymasterHi ARCOS,
Dr. Danny Goel at PrecisionOS asked if I could share the below with ARCOS members regarding an upcoming webinar:
Dear Program Coordinators,
I hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to invite you to a special overview meeting of the PrecisionOS “IMPACT Consortium”, a collaborative initiative focused on elevating orthopedic residency training through immersive virtual-reality, data-driven performance assessment, and program-specific best practices.
Meeting Purpose
This session will:
• Showcase the progress made so far in the IMPACT Consortium (see background here: Impact Initiative: Orthopedic Residency Training)
• Highlight how participating programs are succeeding—and how you can learn from their experience
• Share program-specific best practices, tailored to the unique needs of residency coordinators
• Explore how your program can become a part of the future of VR-augmented surgical education
• Get to know you and your programs unique needs so we can better help you train the next generation of orthoepic surgeons
Why Attend?
As program coordinators you play a crucial role in shaping how residents engage with surgical education. This meeting offers a unique opportunity to:
• See how VR is being integrated into real training workflows
• Understand how performance data is being used to support readiness rather than chance exposure
• Learn how a consortium model creates shared value across programs—so you don’t have to build everything independently
• Position your residency program at the forefront of innovation in orthopedic training

• Duration: Approx. 60 minutes followed by Q&A
