Supporting Coordinators in Advancing Their Professional Growth

The ARCOS Professional Development Scholarship is designed to assist active ARCOS members who face financial challenges in attending the annual ARCOS conference.  This scholarship reflects our commitment to equitable access to professional development and aims to support coordinators in their continued learning and engagement.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

•  Be an active member of ARCOS
•  Be current on ARCOS Institutional dues ($275) for July 2025 – June 2026
•  Submit a formal letter of request from their Program Director, which must:
  • Clearly state the program’s financial need
  • Identify the coordinator by name
  • Include any additional supporting details

💰 What the Scholarship Covers
The ARCOS Professional Development Scholarship supports attendance at the 2026 Annual ARCOS Conference
📅 February 10–12, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida held in conjunction with the AOA/CORD 2026 Winter Conference

The Scholarship includes:

Full conference registration fee ($650), covered via a registration waiver
Up to $1,000 reimbursement for eligible travel-related expenses:

• ✈️ Coach airfare
• 🏨 Hotel accommodations
• 🚗 Mileage (if driving to/from the conference)
• 🚕 Ground transportation (to/from airport and hotel)

💡 Note: Reimbursement will be issued to the program/institution only, not directly to the recipient.

📋 Reimbursement Requirements

To receive reimbursement, the following must be completed:

*  After full attendance at the ARCOS conference (daily sign-in required)
*  Submission of itemized receipts and documentation review to the ARCOS Treasurer
*  Reimbursement will be processed after the conference and sent to the program

Frequency of Award:  To ensure broad access, scholarships may be awarded to a coordinator or program only once every three years.
