The ABOS KSB Resident List is now linked to your ACGME Resident List. When you change data elements in ACGME (Active/Inactive Status, PGY Year, Marking Residents as Graduated), the changes will occur in ABOS KSB within 48 hours of the change in ADS. If you see any discrepancies in your ABOS KSB list, please ensure your ACGME ADS is reflective of your current residents, particularly adding new residents.

Once a new resident is added in ADS, it will be visible in ABOS KSB (within 24 hours).

Add the resident’s education history by clicking “Resident Education History” in the Resident Profile.
Confirm that all residents on your list are accurate. You can update them by clicking on “Profile” next to their name.
Continue to add/maintain residents in ACGME ADS.
If resident is not in ACGME ADS, then ABOS KSB+ will not link to ACGME.
Residents (PGY-1s) must login to ACGME ADS at least once to ensure the linking occurs.
If changes do not occur within 48 hours, please contact us.

My residents have not populated in KSB, I think I read that they need to log into ACGME at least once for them to populate in KSB. Does anyone know if this is correct?

My interns have logged into the ACGME System and they have not yet populated in the ABOS KSB program. It’s been 24 hours.

Once the new residents show up in ABOS, how do they get information about how to log in?

    This just in from Sonya:

We are working with IT to iron out the new process of importing. Please give us until Monday to import the residents. I’ll email more details to the coordinators on Monday if all goes well with the importing.

    So it’s not YOU, it’s Them  😉

    Hi All

I was told by David Elstein from ABOS that they will send an email to all PGY 1s, probably in August introducing the ABOS to them as well as what the ABOS KSB Program is and how to log in.

    Update from Sonya:

    • Please login to your RRA/KSB and click on “residents.” Complete their demographic information and the Education History page.
    • Please notify your residents they need to log into ADS once.  After that is done, they should have access and can go to abos.org/ksb and click forget username/forget password.

    Happy Tuesday!

A few of mine are still having issues. Some are ok. Do they need to sign into ACGME 1st before trying to sign into ABOS KSB?
